Our Design
Philosophy
We are problem solvers.
Since the advent of the Internet there have been many theories
about graphic design for the web. The fact is that the rules
of graphic design have not changed. The Internet has added
a new dimension and interactivity, but the basics remain the
same. Graphic Design is problem solving. Once a problem is
identified, it is thoroughly examined. Ideas are developed
while examining the problem. Solutions are designed from these
ideas. Although this process can be considered a formula for
designing, Graphic Design is not a science. Graphic Design
is a craft and designers are the craftsmen.
Graphic Design is
problem solving:
1) Identifying Problems
2) Examining the Problems
3) Developing Ideas
4) Designing Solutions from Ideas
Graphic Design is not a Science.
Graphic Design
is a Craft. |

expressed in words and/or pictures and generally solves problems
of visual communication.”
